The mission of the Cutting Edge Barber Academy is to train students to become skillful and successful barbers. To that end we will provide students a program of barbering that leads to state licensure. The instruction is intended for students who wish to become barbers. Graduates are expected to pass the state licensure examination and enter the work force as licensed barbers in the State of California.
Cutting Edge Barber Academy is dedicated to assisting students in acquiring skills to meet their targeted profession. Students learn how to evaluate, analyze, and synthesize information to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills in a career environment. It is our goal to fulfill the educational expectations of students and faculty and to provide the community with professionals capable of meeting the challenges in their chosen field.
Cutting Edge Barber Academy is non-sectarian and does not discriminate with regard to race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, disability or marital status in any of its academic program activities, employment practices, or admissions policies. This policy applies to hiring of all positions and admission of all students into all programs. Students with special needs such as physical or mental handicaps or learning disabilities are considered for admission provided they meet the entrance requirements.
